This page lists every cookie set by the PA Paycheck Calculator, what each one does, how long it lasts, and how to opt out. The full site-wide privacy posture is in the Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files your browser stores on your device at a website's request. They are widely used to remember your preferences and to collect anonymous usage statistics. Some are necessary for the basic function of a site; others improve the experience; the remainder are usually for analytics or advertising. We use as few as possible.
This site does not run advertising or affiliate tracking scripts of its own. If you ever click an outbound link to a government site, that site's cookie policy begins to apply from that moment — for example, PA Department of Revenue, IRS, or DCED.

fonts.googleapis.com): the request itself may set a session cookie. Google states in its privacy policy that no advertising identifiers are written for plain stylesheet requests; their position is to log request metadata for abuse prevention.Click the floating 🍪 Cookie Settings button visible at the bottom-left of every page. It re-opens the cookie banner and clears your stored preference, letting you choose again. You can also clear all site data through your browser settings — in Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings → Cookies; in Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data; in Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. After clearing, reload our site and the banner will re-appear.
If you ever encounter third-party advertising cookies (currently we set none), the Digital Advertising Alliance and the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance operate opt-out tools:
On iOS: Settings → Safari → Block All Cookies. On Android: Chrome → Settings → Site settings → Cookies. Both let you reset to default at any time.
The site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly set cookies that target minors, nor do we collect age data to verify.
If we introduce a new cookie category, this page is updated the same day and the change is highlighted for 30 days. Material changes are also announced via the floating Cookie Settings pill.
